P2XED
P2X Electrode Dynamics.

About the project
P2XED focuses on degradation of the hydrogen electrode of the solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC). We are applying a newly developed operando electrochemical TEM method to directly observe Ni morphology dynamics such as particle rounding and wetting. Our method's possibility to observe the P2X electrode dynamics at SOEC operation conditions is unique and the aim is, for the first time, to observe Ni rounding and wetting directly as a function of an applied electrical potential.
This project has received funding from the Independent Research Fund Denmark.
