Teaching

Sustainable energy will remain the global focal point for the coming decades where the world must transition from its reliance on fossil fuels to sustainable energy. This transition requires solving a multitude of engineering challenges in converting and storing energy to make it accessible for humans when and where it is needed.

DTU Energy offers courses and student projects that enable students to meet those future challenges. Student activities spring from our research and address energy conversion and storage challenges at many levels. From atomic scale discovery of new energy materials to understanding the long-term degradation behaviour of working prototypes, our activities span from fundamental research to applications.

We encourage students to get inspiration from our many projects to find topics and supervisors for future projects.

DTU Energy is responsible for the BSc programme in General Engineering and the MSc programme in Sustainable Energy.
